Become an SSWG Ambassador
In order to facilitate conservation social science knowledge-sharing in countries under-represented in the SSWG's membership, the Membership Committee has launched the SSWG Ambassadors program.
Ambassadors are volunteers who will represent the SSWG in these regions by:
- Disseminating information about the SSWG activities and resources to researchers, practitioners, and students interested in conservation social science
- Encouraging SSWG involvement and feedback
- Communicating ideas for SSWG activities and membership involvement to the appropriate SSWG Board members.
We already have a handful of passionate, dedicated conservation social scientists but are looking for more! If you're interested or know someone who would be a perfect Ambassador, please contact the Ambassador Coordinator for more information (Annie Claus, annie.claus@yale.edu).
