Section Membership
Any active member of the Society for Conservation Biology (SCB) may become a member of the Asia Section. The SCB is, "...an international professional organization of over 8000 individuals dedicated to promoting the scientific study of the phenomena that affect the maintenance, loss, and restoration of biological diversity. The Society's membership comprises a wide range of people interested in the conservation and study of biological diversity: resource managers, educators, government and private conservation workers, and students."
No dues or registration fees (outside of Society membership) are charged for
Section membership, all positions are voluntary to forward the mission of the
Section and the Society as a whole.
Asia Section List Serve
The Asia Section List Serve can be joined by anyone interested in conservation in the Asian region. This is a platform for networking and communication between members and non-members. No fees are charged, membership in the List Serve does not directly correspond with membership to the Society or the Section.
