2006 HOST PROPOSALS INVITED!

The Board of Governors is soliciting proposals from organizations that would like to host SCB's 2006 annual meeting. Proposals are specifically sought from North America. Prospective hosts from North America are requested to submit a pre-proposal to the Executive Office by 15 January 2004. If a suitable North American host organization has not been identified by 15 February 2004, the Board will extend its call for proposals to include non-North American venues. To obtain a copy of the format for pre-proposals and full proposals email Alan Thornhill, AThornhill@ConservationBiology.org. The deadline for receipt of pre-proposals is 15 January 2004 and the deadline for receipt of full proposals is 15 May 2004. Please note that this is a revised call for proposals and supersedes the call published in the August 2003 newsletter. The location of the 2006 meeting will be announced at the annual Members' Meeting during the 2004 SCB meeting in New York City.
