Education committee news: Invitation to new members

The SCB Education Committee is looking for new members for the coming year who are interested in working on specific projects to advance the educational mission of SCB. Although we do most of our work via email, the committee is a workgroup and not a discussion group. Projects we will work on during the coming year include enhancement of the SCB
Education Resources website, continued development of the conservation literacy guidelines, and development of mechanisms to promote conservation biology material in K-12 classrooms. If you have an interest in serving on the Education Committee during the coming year, please send an email message to the committee's chair, Steve Trombulak (trombulak@middlebury.edu), by 15 October.
