For updates on arrangements and the latest information, please check our web site, http://www.bio.mq.edu.au/consbio, before traveling. No major changes have been made, even the exchange rate has not changed since February. There are now email contacts for both child-minding facilities (abeattie@rna.bio.mq.edu.au) and for students wishing to arrange billeting (bbrook@rna.bio.mq.edu.au). Do not forget that if you are planning to arrive in Sydney by air between Saturday 11 July and Monday 13 July, and you inform us of your flight number, we will arrange transportation for you from the airport to the university or to your hotel. At times when large numbers of people are expected we will endeavour to provide free transport but during slack periods we will arrange the most economical transport for you. On arrival, look for the signs and the volunteers in the distinctive yellow tee-shirts and caps. At the International terminal they will be near the exits from the customs hall and at the Qantas Domestic terminal they will be near the baggage carousels (if you arrive at the Ansett domestic terminal it is only a short stroll to Qantas). But remember, you must tell us which flight you will be on or we may not have anyone there to meet you. So make sure you arrange your travel details before you submit your registration form. Parking at Macquarie University. Please consult the maps in the Program and Abstracts because the parking situation has changed in the last few weeks and the "biology" car park is now a construction zone. The preferred option is to enter via the gate at the intersection of Herring Road and Waterloo Road, proceed along University Avenue, turn right at the second turn (Eastern Road), and park in Lot E3 or E1. If you require a map prior to the meeting, please email George McKay or visit the web site.
